Gardens of Dorset & The New Forest
"Unlike some resorts Bournemouth hasn't rested on its laurels but has continually invested in facilities for both tourists and business visitors and it shows. It offers all the facilities of a seaside resort and a modern commercial centre, as well as being a perfect location for visits to the many attractions, including wonderful gardens, along the south coast."

Travel west via Dorchester (renamed "Casterbridge" by Thomas Hardy), to visit the wonderful 20 acre sub-tropical gardens and Swannery at Abbotsbury. It has gained a worldwide reputation for its groves of camellia, magnolia, rhododendron and hydrangea and for its large colony of mute swans.
Day 3
Free day in Britain's largest seaside resort of Bournemouth. It would be easy to fill several days exploring and shopping in the town so make this day as busy or as leisurely as you like.
Day 4
A day to the New Forest including a visit to Lord Rothschild's Exbury Gardens, a spectacular 200 acre woodland garden. Locally there are many quaint little villages flanking Southampton Water and the New Forest ponies still graze free within the National Park.
