The 2012 Festival of Quilts - 16-19 August, Birmingham

07 Sep 2011

The Festival of Quilts, held at the NEC in Birmingham, has earned a reputation over the last 8 years as the largest and most inspiring quilting event in Europe, boasting a host of gallery exhibitions from leading artists and groups, not to mention a fantastic programme of nearly 100 masterclasses, workshops and lectures, plus a further 100 'Quick & Easy' workshops, aimed at beginners. The 2012 Festival of Quilts will take place from 16-19 August.  Over 250 companies will be selling all those hard-to-find patchwork and quilting supplies.

Why not let our dedicated team of travel professionals create a bespoke package for your groups who would like to visit the festival. A typical example of a 7 day itinerary we could put together for you might include 2 nights in London, 2 nights in Birmingham with the opportunity to visit attractions in nearby Shakespeare Country & the Cotswolds and 2 nights in Bath, where your clients could visit the Fashion Museum, the Jane Austen Centre and the American Museum in Britain at Claverdon, which is home to a wonderful collection of Quilts and Folk Art.
